Printed to order
We don't hold stock. When you order a tee, a cap or a bottle, it gets made for you by our print partner and shipped directly from their facility. That's why nothing sells out, why there's no warehouse of unsold shirts heading for landfill — and why it takes a few days longer than something sitting on a shelf.
How long it takes
- Production: typically 2–5 business days from the moment you order.
- Shipping within the US: typically a further 3–5 business days.
- International: typically a further 10–20 business days, depending on the destination and its customs.
You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as the parcel leaves the facility. Busy periods — December especially — run longer, and we'll say so on the shop page when they do.
Shipping costs
Calculated at checkout from your address and what's in the basket, and shown in full before you pay. No charges appear afterwards.
Customs and import charges
Orders outside the United States may attract import duties or taxes on arrival. Those are set by your own country and are the recipient's responsibility — we have no way to calculate or collect them in advance, and they are not included in what you pay us.
If something is wrong
Damaged, misprinted or defective: we replace it free. Email hello@tent-acles.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. You will not usually need to send the item back.
Lost in transit: tell us and we'll chase the carrier. If it can't be found, we replace it.
Changed your mind
Because each item is made for you individually, we can't restock returns. We'll still accept a return within 30 days of delivery if the item is unworn, unwashed and in its original condition. Email us first for a return address. Return postage is yours unless the item was faulty, and we refund to the original payment method once it arrives.
Wrong size or wrong address
Size charts are on each product page — please check them, since a made-to-order item in the wrong size can't be resold. If you give us an incorrect shipping address and the parcel comes back to us, we'll re-ship it once you cover the postage.
Canceling an order
Email us straight away. If production hasn't started we'll cancel and refund in full. Once printing has begun we can't stop it, and the return terms above apply instead.
The fort kit
The Tent-Acles! fort kit isn't on sale yet. It launches through a crowdfunding campaign in spring 2027, and that campaign will carry its own delivery timelines and terms, which we'll publish in full before anyone is asked to pledge.
